My bud Derek was in NYC recently and met a friend.

according to the unwritten rule of popular tumblr photography, one with an image as beautiful as this deserves 300 reblogs, and more.

Incredible.  THIS is why you never take pigeons for granted.

Pigeons are one of the largest birds that can take flight the way that small birds do, by jumping into the air.  Launching like this is much easier, but not half as cool looking really.
